In essence, Henry's dream is a call to stand up for his beliefs..... to speak out rather than stay silent. During his dream, Henry tries to speak out but finds he has no voice. His dream and inability to speak out are symbolic of his situation, and a direct result of the isolated path he has taken to that point in his life
