The X's apartment is grand with marble floors, expensive art, high ceilings and dramatic lighting. There is no evidence that a child even lives in the house, except in the boy, Grayer's bedroom. The kitchen is rarely cooked in and the house looks like it belongs in a magazine, rather than a home for a family.
