What do Mother and Allie argue about, and how do they resolve it?

Mother and Allie argue because Mother wants to leave the camp he has set up. He says that she should be grateful to him for saving everyone, but she reminds him that it is his fault they are all there in the first place. She goes for a long walk, and comes back saying that the family will stay at the new camp.
