What is Microsoft?

Microsoft is the company that Bill owns and Melinda worked out for around ten years before having their first child. It is also the main focus of Chapter Eight as Melinda used her experiences working at a newly formed Microsoft and how she helped shape the workplace culture. Since there is such a disparity between men and women in the software industry, building a culture where both men and women could feel free to express themselves instead of having to compete for their voices. Due to Microsoft's success, Bill and Melinda are able to create their foundation and work to better the rest of the world with the technology and progress they created over the years.
