Who is Colonel Lewis from Mayday! and what is their importance?

Colonel Lewis is the commanding officer of Brady Field. He is described as having a huge, red handlebar mustache and being a great cook. Lewis' main interest is protecting his base and the airplanes stationed there. He isn't interested in the Teaser, and when he discovers that all the damage to his airfield was caused by a fish, he is pretty angry.
