Why does Mark have a good supply of EVA suits?

Each crew member has two space suits: a flight spacesuit to wear during descent and ascent, and the bulkier and more robust EVA suit to wear during surface operations. Since the crew wore their flight suits, Mark has six EVA suits in perfect condition.
