At the end of Chapter 4, why is Mark in Rover 2?

Mark discovers that he has not been burning all the hydrogen that he has been releasing in his water-making process. With 64 percent hydrogen in the air mixed in with the oxygen, it would take one spark to blow up the Hab. Since the Hab is now a bomb, Mark is hiding out in Rover 2.
