What is odd to a Warrior of the Light in the novel, Manual of the Warrior of Light?

The things that are odd to a warrior of the light are that at the first opportunity, many people show their worst qualities. These people hide their strength behind aggression and hide their fear of loneliness behind an air of independence. These people don't believe in their own abilities, but are constantly trumpeting their virtues.
