What is Witty Ticcy Ray's treatment? Why doesn't he like it at first? How does he cope with it?

Witty Ticcy Rate is proscribed Haldol by Dr. Sacks. Ray doesn't like it because it reduces his balance, speed and timing. This causes him to be slower than usual so much so that he at one point became trapped in a revolving door. Plus, Ray sees his tics as part of who he is. Sacks asks Ray to try to drug for three months. After three months, Ray decides to take his medicine during the week and go off of it on the weekend to recover his creative powers.
