What is the main character's disorder? How does it compare to Witty Ticcy Ray's? How does she handle it on the street?

The main character has Tourette's syndrome. It is dramatically worse than Witty Ticcy Ray's Tourette's Syndrome. She often has extremely violent tics, including in public. While walking along the street, she can only control her tics by mimicking the actions of others.
