What does Susie learn about her family while she is in heaven? Did she have greater influence in heaven than she had in life? | The Lovely Bones Questions & Answers

Susie learned that each of her family, except Mother wished they had and could do more for the death of their sister and or daughter. Mother was in such denial that the only thing she could do was to run. Father wished he would have known more about his daughter and with that would have been there for her instead of Susie being brutally murdered. Susie was more of an influence from heaven. being that she relized just how much she added to her family and how much she was needed for them to be complete and how much she was missed.
