At the end of the book Mr. Harvey is up to his old ways and is stalking a young woman in an alley in the back of a diner. It is winter time and as he makes his way under the eves of a building a large icicle drops on his head, knocking him out. The snow covers him and he dies. They find his body 2 weeks later.
