Coach Hedge/Gleeson Hedge from The Lost Hero is the protector and watcher for demi-gods at schools and he notices jason immediatly because he can see through the mist and is unaffected by Juno's mind altering. He loves to fight and get the group into trouble from this fact. Later on he realizes the fact that he could be more help as protector and stays back to look after the wounded.
