What is The Big House?

The Big House is the main house at Camp Half Blood, and is where the camp headquarters is located. This is where Chiron lives, and where important camp matters are discussed. The decor inside is still jungle-themed because Dionysus used to run the camp. Dionysus is associated with jungles, theatre, wine, and leopards and panthers. Unsurprisingly, there are theatre masks and grape vines on the walls. There is even a living leopard head on the wall, called Seymour. The Big House also contains a room lined with celestial bronze where Piper can make a phone call to her father without worrying that monsters will pick up the signal.
