What are Centaur?

A centaur is a creature from Greek mythology that has the head and torso of a human and the legs and body of a horse. They are usually wild, unruly, party-loving creatures, but Chiron is different. Chiron is the camp director and helps to protect and train all the heroes at Camp Half Blood. He is a mythological figure who trained some of the famous heroes of Greek myth. He is intelligent, dignified, and sensible. Chiron is mildly embarrassed of his relations, the other centaurs, who call themselves the Party Ponies.
