is it right to approach the killer just to find out he did it?
In my opinion, tracking down the killer in the attempt to get a confession is reckless. I would have thought that possibly it made more sense to find a way to get a sample of Lockwood's DNA. Joe's visit might afford him an opportunity to gather that type of evidence, but the fact he is approaching him to get a confession is dangerous.
