What happened when Hector and Pete met face-to-face in Texas?

After Pete took custody of the girls, Charlie came down to visit, bringing Hector with her. While she was packing up the car, Hector made a rude comment to her which infuriated Pete. He marched straight up to Hector and punched him in the mouth. The fight was short, but Pete was clearly victorious. When they were finished, he scooped Hector into his car and drove him to the emergency room. When he returned, Charlie ran into Pete's arms and the couple was reunited.
