How did Mary find out that her family was moving, yet again, from Colorado?

One Saturday morning, while she was helping Mr. McBride clean out the horse stables, Mary overheard that she and her family would be moving away from Colorado. Moments later, Mary watched as Mr. McBride hooked the trailer up to his truck and Mary realized the move was coming very soon, possibly even that day. She later learned that Charlie had purchased a bar with Hector in another town. Charlie viewed this purchase as an investment, but the rest of the family worried, due to Charlie's alcoholism.
