Despite Mexico's advancements, she still stands on a low spot on the world spectrum. She cannot compete with the nations who have greater industries or more land. She does not even have many natural resources, as Venezuela and Cuba have. In order to change her place in the world, Mexico will have to become more industrialized. The small amount of land that is insufficient to support the farmers, should be turned into industrial land. Whether Mexico turns to steel, fabric, or another industry, that form of living is the only one that will pull the country out of poverty. Once Mexico has a stable and even thriving economy, the nation can afford to fix roads, build suitable housing, and educate the young. That is likely to raise Mexico's position on the world spectrum.
