Why does Lana tell Mark and Trina to hurry in Chapter 2? What is their mission for the day?

Lana tells Mark and Trina to hurry up and get breakfast ready because they will be headed out to scout for a new branch location. The village is becoming overcrowded. Coming along with them will be Darnell, the Toad, and Misty, whom Alec refers to as the Three Stooges, friends made in the tunnels of New York.
