Inside the building, he sees two people leap into the Flat Trans. Mark takes a note he has scribbled and gives it to Deedee to cross through the Flat Trans. It reads, “She’s immune to the Flare. Use her. Do it before the crazy people find you.” Mark then sends Deedee through.
