Who was looking for Aravis in Tashbaan and why?

Aravis' father is looking for her because she ran away rather than marry the man he'd arranged for her to marry. It takes awhile for him to catch on that she's run away because she sent him a letter to tell him that she'd eloped. The letter gave her enough time to make her escape.
