Linda Murdock is Leslie's wife. As a former nightclub singer, she decided to return to the stage after leaving her husband. Linda clashed with Mrs. Murdock and could not stand living in her house any longer. She admittedly married Leslie for his money, and she tells Marlowe she will divorce him for $25,000.
