Who is Tor-sola from The Hero and the Crown and what is their importance?

Tor-sola is Aerin's cousin and the next in line to be king. Tor is older than Aerin, but he has always reached out to her, befriending her when other cousins avoid her. Tor is gallant, intelligent, and the perfect ideal of a prince. However, Aerin does not see this. Aerin thinks of Tor as simply her kindly older cousin who cares for her like a brother. Even when Tor begins to notice how Aerin has grown, Aerin fails to notice the change in the way he speaks with her and how he begins to avoid her.
