Who is Ms. Brenda from The Hate You Give?

Ms. Brenda is Khalil's mother. She is a crack addict, and her debt to King was the reason Khalil began selling drugs. After Khalil's death, she comes to the clinic where Lisa works asking for help with her addiction and grief.
