Who is April Ofrah from The Hate You Give?

April Ofrah is Starr's attorney and a community activist in the Just Us for Justice organization. She introduces herself to the Carters at Khalil's funeral, where she offers to represent Starr. Ofrah is also present at the violent demonstrations after the grand jury fails to indict Officer Cruise, where she stands on top of a police car, yelling into a megaphone, which she turns over to Starr, so she can speak up on Khalil's behalf as well.
