Who is the antagonist in The Guest by Albert Camus?

This is an interesting question. Camus leaves the reader with much to think about regarding this. Is the antagonist the French who are occupying Algeria? Is it the Arab who has killed his cousin? Is it Daru who, although wanting to be accepted by Arabs, is unwillingly a symbol of French Colonialism?
