Camus uses third-person omniscient point of view to reveal the thoughts of the main character of Daru. Camus uses third-person limited point of view to when it comes to the other two characters. This gives us a story that is very much centered on Daru and his cultural dilemma. We see Daru as a reliable character but also get a keen insight into his conflicts and anxieties.
