What does Bitterbuck tell Paul about his life?

When Paul talks to Bitterbuck shortly before his execution, Bitterbuck tells Paul about his first wife. Bitterbuck mentions how they built a lodge together up in Montana. He said those were the happiest times of his life. He remembers that the water there was so pure and cold, that it felt like your mouth was cut every time you drank.
