The God of Small Things What metaphors are used in The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy? Asked by bookragstutor on 20 Aug 04:23 Last updated by Cat on 20 Jun 04:08
Rahel's watch with the time painted on it is a metaphor for how time is actually fragmented where the present and past happen in conjunction with each other. Much like Rahel's watch, the novel seems frozen in time.
