Who is Malcolm Lewis from The Glory Field?

We meet Malcolm Lewis in 1994, when he is fifterrn-years-old. He does not appear until the novel's final chapter. He is an only child, his parents are Richard and Celia Lewis. Malcolm is a musician in the band he started with his friends, which is called String Theory. He plays the flute and the saxophone.
