Where does Fred go after leaving the courtroom? Why?

Fred goes to a teahouse across the street from the courtroom. He is waiting on Kelly to pass by the on his way out of court. Fred waits for three hours at the teahouse because he wants to hit Kelly for revealing the information about Daisy on the witness stand.
