What does Catherine say to David when he returns after leaving angry?

In Chapter 13, when David meets Catherine in the bar after he had left in an angry rush, she tells him that she is sorry for hurting him and that she wants him to forgive her. She wishes that he had been the one to sleep with Marita so that she could be the one to forgive her.
