What is the theme in The Front Page by Ben Hecht?

One recurring theme in the play in loyalty. Loyalty is illustrated in a few different ways including the loyalty the reporters feel to their newspaper, Williams' loyalty to an ideal that caused him to murder a policeman, and the mayor and sheriff's loyalty to their own interests.
