How does Gruwell spend the summer of 1996?

During the summer of 1996, Gruwell first teaches a seminar at the National University. After the seminar, Gruwell is offered a job teaching two education classes a week. Because of this job and her job at the Marriott, Gruwell saves enough money to go to Europe. There, Gruwell visits Zlata and Miep.
