The main conflict in the novel is man versus self, in this case.... girl (London). Londons inability to remember, paired with her denial of the event in which her brother was kidnapped, leads to multiple repurcussions.... the loss ofher father, the inability to form lasting relationships, and the arrest of the wrong man as her brother's kidnapper.
