What dream has Antonia adopted?

Antonia has adopted Paolo's dream for the future. He wants a different world than he was brought up in. For him, that is the Family. Antonia had always thought she needed to escape the Family in order to move forward. Paolo has a plan, and he is saving his wages for an apartment and furnishings.
