As Antonia and Sofia get older, how are they different from their classmates and why?

Because of their families, as Antonia and Sofia get older, they realize they are different from their classmates. They are not included in playground games. They are not welcomed into the circles of gossiping girls. At school, they are told that the Family are petty criminals and bullies. Because they are Family children, they are not to be trusted.
