What do we learn about Lula Gates in CH 9-11 and how does Callie solve it ?

In Chapter Ten, we learn that Travis, Sam, and Lamar all have crushes on Lula. This causes problems during Callie and Lula's walks home from school. To solve the problem Callie sets up a schedule, so that each of the three boys can walk home with Lula and herself once a week.
