What is the theme in Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank?

My favorite theme in the novel is the theme of goodness. Throughout the novel, no matter what happens..... Anne always holds onto her belief that for the most part, people are inherently good. Her optimistic vision of humanity enables her to stay positive.
