The primary sources were written after Richard III's death.

The History of King Richard the Third by Thomas More (sympathetic)

• Thomas More got his information about Richard from Henry VII's Archbishop of Canterbury, John Morton, who was Richard's bitterest enemy, and the accounts of Richard that followed were all built on that.
