Why does Fache dislike Sophie, in Chapters 9 and 10, and do you agree with his assessment? Why or why not?

In Chapters 9 and 10, it is revealed that Fache dislikes Sophie, mostly because she is a woman. Although not much is known about Sophie so far, I disagree with Fache. Women are just as capable of doing police work as men. So, although Fache may have other unknown reasons for disliking Sophie that will be revealed later on, simply the fact that Sophie is a woman is not a good enough reason.
