What happens when Sophie and Langdon finally reach the American Embassy?

When Sophie and Langdon finally got from the museum to the American Embassy, they discovered that Fache's men were already there. As they approached the Embassy, the police sirens came to life. So, rather than go to the Embassy, Sophie and Langdon raced off to the train station in hopes of escaping Paris that way.
