In Chapters 92 through 95, Remy is seen in an alliance with Silas. Also, Remy seems to know that Silas and Aringarosa are just pawns in the Teacher's plot and Remy feels sorry for them. Yet, later on, Remy is murdered by the Teacher. That seems to raise more questions than it answers, since Remy seemed to think he was closer to the Teacher than Silas and Aringarosa, yet he was murdered by the Teacher.
