Who is Tenzing Norgay from The Crystal Horizon Everest-the First Solo Ascent and what is their importance?

Tenzing Norgay is a famous Sherpa climber who accompanies Sir Edmund Hillary to the summit of Everest in 1953. Later, there is some debate concerning which of the two men was first to reach the top, and therefore was the first person ever known to complete the climb.
