What happened between Colette and a dancer in "Gibriche"?

In "Gibriche" a dancer is extremely rude to Colette even though Colette had nothing to do with the fine for her minor infraction. Later, the dancer has a miscarriage after falling down the stairs and the performers take up a collection to help her.
