As Winter meets with Midnight one more time to get her father's money, she discovers that there is no money. Midnight is leaving town. At first she is suspicious. She thinks that Midnight is skipping town with her family's money. Midnight quickly puts her in her place, telling her that she is a "dumb woman," and he has no room in his life for a woman like that. As he leaves, he gives her an envelope with $3,000 and Sister Souljah's card.
