Sister Souljah tells the women who attend the meetings in her home that they have to have a plan for their future and assist one another in meeting their goals. Black women must work on who they are and what values they hold first. These two things will guide their actions and careers and provide a foundation for the rest of their lives. As Souljah asks each attendee what she believes in, Winter quietly slips out, so as to avoid answering.
