Winter and Lauren accompany Souljah to a women's prison where Souljah addresses about one hundred women who suffer from AIDS. Souljah's speech is empathetic but tough, reminding the women that they are mothers and that, until the day they die, they need to be the best mothers they can be, so that their children will not grow up hating themselves too. Winter is upset by Souljah's words, but she cannot specifically determine why.
