Who is Crown Prince from Beauty's Punishment and what is their importance?

The Crown Prince is the dark-haired, handsome son of Queen Eleanor. He discovers Beauty as she lays asleep from the spell that lasted 100 years. The Prince is enchanted by Beauty, although he already has a mistress at the royal court. He then asks for Beauty to become a slave at the court, a request to which Beauty's parents comply.
